Serving as the Sterling District representative on the Loudoun County School Board is both an honor and a serious responsibility. Since being sworn in this January, my focus has been clear: listen closely, learn quickly, and advocate effectively for the students, families, and educators who make our schools strong.

The first 90 days matter. They set the tone for how I show up, how I make decisions, and how I stay accountable to the community I represent. This plan outlines how I am approaching that responsibility with intention, transparency, and action.

My priorities during this initial period center on three core commitments: engagement, advocacy, and accountability. That means spending time in our schools, hearing directly from those closest to the classroom; digging into policy and budget decisions that shape student outcomes; and holding leadership to the promises made to Sterling families.

This 90-day plan is not about checking boxes. It is about building relationships, understanding challenges on the ground, and ensuring that decisions at the board table reflect the real needs of our community. As this work moves forward, I will continue to share what I am learning, what actions I am taking, and how residents can stay involved.

I am grateful for the trust placed in me and committed to earning it every step of the way.
