I had the opportunity to speak at Rolling Ridge Elementary’s Golden Jubilee this morning and what a morning it was. 5️⃣0️⃣ years of students, teachers, and families building something truly special in our community. Huge thanks to Principal Michael Burd!
Thank you to Amazon’s Think Big program for bringing hands-on STEM experiences to our kids and the new shade canopy!
📚 As a school board member, supporting literacy in our community is one of my greatest priorities, and tomorrow I get to put that into action. I'll be speaking at the Rally for Reading Block Party at the Sterling Community Center tomorrow, May 30, 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM. Free food, free books, amazing authors, Wolf Trap performers, and more.
